About Me | Well where do I begin? I was born in Maplewood, MN. We lived there until I was half way through 1st grade so 6 and a half years. We moved to Coon Rapids for the rest of 1st grade then to Andover for 2nd and 3rd. My parents divorced and I moved with mom to Coon rapids again for 4th and 5th grade. Not at the same school mind you. Next we moved to Brooklyn center and stayed for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Off to Plymouth for 9th and part of 10th. I than moved to my dads in St. Paul for the rest of 10th and start of 11th grade. Two months in and we moved to Hudson, WI were I stayed for about 2 more months before moving out. I stayed with friends back in Plymouth for the rest of 11th grade and part of 12th before jumping around from couch to couch for a few months. Due to all the moving I was so far behind in school i chose to get my GED. With an age wavier from a job I was going to start I got my GED about a month ahead of what was supposed to be my graduation in 1996. I moved to Blaine for about a year before doing another round of being a couch hopper. In the fall of 1998 I landed in a mobile home in New Brighton I purchased from a friend of the family. I managed to stayed there for nearly ten years before buying a house in Mounds View were I live now. I married in 2009 and we have an amazing family. I gained a daughter with marriage that I could not be more proud of and I love her as my own. In 2008 our first son was born becoming one of the best days of my life. In late 2013 we found out my wife was pregnant again. In February the doctor said it was another boy. June 11th, 2014 is a day that tops the worst of them all. My wife came home from her final check up, just days before our son was due, to tell me that our sons heart was no longer beating. On June 12th, 2014 Cael Charles was born into this world sleeping and still, an angel. We decided to use our loss to help others in need. In July 2014 we started Cael's Angels Association as a way to help honor baby angels. We raise awareness and funds to help pay for the unexpected costs related to a stillbirth. As of May 2016 we have helped 8 families honor the loss of a child born still. Over the years i have had many different jobs from cooking to cleaning, to construction, and to railroading. I am currently in manufacturing in a management role. I also serve as president and executive director of Cael's Angels and as equipment manager for IYHA. Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you need more...(read more) |
