1982 men's RJR class ring with initials WLC. Found in ocean off NC coast many years ago (in the 90's) and took it to a jeweler and had it cleaned in order to see the initials (as it was encrusted with matter). I have a Reynolds Ring, man-sized that a friend gave to me years ago (about 1972.). It had been a misprint, as the year it was given to me was prior to the date I had received it. For some reason, it was never returned to the company, which was not Balfour.
The intials in it were LCB, and the year is stated as 1979. I would love for the person to have it, or for someone who graduated in 1979 and does not have one of these rings.
This is a nice ring, with the R in the middle of the stone. I would like to see it used as a high school ring or memento, rather than sold off somewhere.
