About	Wendy graduated from Riverside Brookfield High School in 1972. Wendy spent her adult life working for Downers Grove South High School as a member of their support staff running the copy room. She took great pride in the friendships she built there and her ability to make the lives of those around her run smoothly. Wendy had tremendous love for her children. She was so proud of them and would say her greatest accomplishment was being a mother. Wendy truly loved spending time with all of her grandsons and lit up when talking about them. She enjoyed reading books and gardening and had a profound love for animals. One of her true passions was advocating for homeless pets. Wendy loved all dogs but had a special place in her heart for puggles (pug-beagle mix) and golden retrievers. She lived for helping people and animals and building lasting relationships with her unparalleled kindness for those she loved. Wendy is preceded in death by her parents William Hora and Eleanor Krause and her twin sister Susan Hora. Wendy is survived by her husband Daniel Telitz who resides in Westmont; her son Paul Konczak (wife Meaghan, grandsons Matthew, Benjamin, Parker) who reside in Big Rock; her daughter Kelli Konczak-Bataska (husband Michael Bataska) who reside in Lemont; step son Nicholas Telitz (wife Jennifer, grandsons Noah and Jacob) who reside in Lemont; and step daughter Leeann Telitz who resides in Westmont. A memorial service celebrating Wendys life will be held on Sunday August 18, 2019 from 2pm to 8pm at Modell Funeral Home at 7710 South Cass Ave. Darien, Il. 60561 In lieu of flowers it was Wendys wish that a donation be made to West Suburban Humane Society in her name.
