About	Michael E. Martin(1947 - 2016) Martin, Michael E. Michael Edward Martin, 69, passed away December 5, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital with family by his side. He was born to Leonard H. and Mildred A. (Benedict) Martin on January 29, 1947 in Fond du Lac. Mike graduated from Ripon High School in 1966, served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970 stationed most of his service in Thailand. He worked for Mercury Marine as a machinist from 1970 and retiring in 2006. Mike was currently serving as President of Forest Sportsman Club. Mike enjoyed trap shooting and shooting in general. He was loved and cherished by his family and friends. Even though Mike did not have children, he was a dad/mentor to many. Mike was survived by one sister, Suzanne (James) Zopolos; one brother, Leonard (Susan) Martin Jr.; one sister-in-law, Dr. Gayle Martin; nieces and nephews, Marc Martin, Todd Martin, Ann Martin, Cheryl (Randy) Birschbach, Christine (Matt) Michael, Peter Zopolos, Jennifer (John) Grimme and Brian (Laura) Fahrbach; great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Richard Martin and a niece, Denise Martin. Private family Celebration of Mike's Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be directed to Forest Sportsman Club - C/O Stuart Gough, to Fond du Lac High School Trap team or a .
