Reunion Update: As of this past Thursday, the official six-month clock has started for our 50-year reunion September 23, 2023. We're in the home stretch of finalizing the catering details with our classmate Steve Ryan's restaurant, Rudy's Hideaway. The reunion will be held at the Rio Del Oro Sports Club, located at 119 Scripps Drive, from 6-10pm. As of now, it looks like we'll be charging $50 for this event. We'll be using the same ticketing service as before, and tickets should be available in the near future. Once the menu has been finalized, we'll post that as well.
One would think with two RN's and two CPA's planning this reunion, our creativity fountain would be running over. Well, not so much, and we could use some help in that regard. If you think you might be interested, would you please send us an email to rioamericano1973@gmail.com. You may be eligible for a fancy (but certainly useless) job title!
As a part of our reunion, we're inviting as many of our teachers from Rio as we can locate to be our "honored guests," and thus far we're in contact with about ten of them.
