I would like to nominate Gary Catona from the class of 1971. Gary was always such a determined, grounded, astute young man. He was always wise beyond his years. He had and has the most beautiful voice. He followed his dreams, based slightly on the encouragement of Lee Lynn our choral director. Today, Gary is known as “Voice Coach to the Stars”. He is also the author of a few books. The latest is book is about philosophy, something that Gary is always pondering. He coaches the world’s most famous singers, from opera to rock.
He is also a kind generous person, who deserves the success and recognition he has earned.
