He was born July 18, 1952 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Dr. George Hanek and Lily N. Larsen Hanek. Survivors include his wife, Trilby Smith Hanek; his mother; one son, Jack A. Hanek; one brother, Dr. Robert Hanek; one niece and one nephew. There are no services or visitation. Cremation is scheduled. Mattox Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
