Reunion Articles:

Payments

Expect that an average of 10% to 25% of your class will wait until the very last minute to register and pay. Getting classmates to pay early for their registration cost can be difficult, so generate ideas in persuading your classmates to pay on time. The registration form should be very explicit, so there will be no misconceptions about costs.

As an incentive, give classmates the option of paying early in order to lower their registration price. Classmates that register during the regular registration period pay the regular price. Require that all classmates that missed the deadline or show up unannounced at the reunion pay extra fees. Another option might be requiring classmates to pay several weeks in advance and implement an additional fee for any late payments.
