Service description Served in the US Marines from 1969-1973. Then the US Army from 1975 - 1992. I was a straight-leg infantryman in the Marines, but had some exciting assignments, such as being stationed in Berne, Switzerland for 2 years on Embassy Duty. I entered the Army as an infantryman with the 1st Cavalry Division, Ft Hood, Texas and after 4 years joined the Aviation Branch and spent the remainder of my years as an Air Traffic Controller. |
