About	Christopher Eugene Adkins, 53, of Ravenswood, WV, died December 21, 2021 at Ravenswood Village. Chris was born March 20, 1968, in Huntington WV, son of Frank and LaVona Hamlin Adkins. He was a lifelong member of First United Pentecostal Church in Ravenswood. He loved his family. He loved collecting coins and sports cards, going to the library, his dogs, making jokes and making people laugh. Chris also worked at JCDC. Chris is survived by his mother, LaVona Adkins Sauters and step-father, Leroy Sauters; sisters, Crystal Johnston and her husband David and Carrissa Hardbarger and her husband Randy; nieces and nephews, Felicia (Jason) Cozatt, Kinzey Johnston, Patrick Johnston, Keith (Taylor) Hardbarger, Nicholas (Kelsey) Johnston, Conner (Kayleigh) Johnston; great nieces and nephews, Bowin, Finley, and Cash Cozatt, Lyla and Alice Culley, and Layla Johnston and his church family that loved him very much and the Sauters family, his bonus family. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Adkins and nephew, Matthew Hardbarger. Friends visited the family at First United Pentecostal Church, Ravenswood, on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service followed, Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00am with Pastor David Johnston, officiating, assisted by Reverends Greg Hurley and Edwin Harper.
