The RLT Lionettes are hosting a Homecoming Golf Tournament on Monday, October 19, 2009, at Riverchase Golf Course with a 1:30 pm shotgun start. The cost is $65/player or $260.00/per team.
Tournament package includes:
Green fee, cart and practice range balls
Contests for Closest to the Pin & Longest Drive
Burger Buffet with all the trimmings and drink tickets

Vivian Field Middle Needs You
Vivian Field Middle School's AVID classes regularly invite guest speakers to describe to 7th and 8th graders how they reached their academic and professional goals. AVID is a program that is designed to, among other benefits, expose students to the rigors of academics that lead to successfully entering and completing a four year college program. Vivian Field's program would love to see former Turner HS graduates return to a middle school classroom and relate to students who may be traveling on a very similar path as those alumni once did. Our AVID students are most likely to be the first generation of college students in their families; AVID is there for them to provide support and knowledge as they work toward that goal.
