Quincy High School Gymnasium Court to be dedicated to Coach Bob "Woody" Woodworth - Dec. 22nd!

On Dec. 22nd QHS will be hosting Grandview HS for a B/G CWAC Basketball league contest. Between the Varsity games the Quincy School District/Quincy HS and the community of Quincy will be dedicating the HS gymnasium court to Bob “Woody” Woodworth. Coach Woodworth coached boys basketball at QHS from 1954-1972 and also coached the first girls teams at QHS. In 1999 he was selected to the Washington State Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame (the only Quincy coach ever inducted in to the state HOF). His record at QHS was 372-152 (over 70% wins) and he is responsible for many of the “Wall of Fame” plaques signifying state placing’s in the QHS gymnasium.

There will be an open house in the library from 6-7pm and the dedication will be at approx. 7:15 between the girls and boys varsity games…..PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD/FORWARD THIS INFO TO ANY ALUMNI, FRIENDS, ETC…
