We were the first Basketball team at Queens Vocational High School. We played together 2 yrs. During our 2nd year we went all the way to the division championship and lost to Bushwick High School. Bushwick had much more talent than we had but we were able to beat them during the regular season. We had identical records of 9-1. Coach Bob Schwartz did an outstanding job keeping our confidence high. Mr. Schwartz volunteered to coach although having no coaching experience.he truly believed in us which kept us competative. We may not have been the best around but we had heart. We had a lot of talent which kept us always in the game.
