About She graduated from Queen Anne’s County High in 1976. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Wooster College in 1980. She attended Wesley Seminary in Washington, DC and received a Bachelor’s of Theology. Following that, for several years she was a pastor of the United Methodist Church and served churches in Claymont, Delaware and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Cambridge, Maryland.

She moved on to work and advocate for the disabled, working for the ARC of Montgomery, supporting and coordinating services for the disabled in the Metropolitan DC area. She lived first in Silver Spring then in Montgomery Village, Maryland. She moved to Denton, Maryland to share in the lives of cherished her nephews, Jordan and James. She then worked with the DDA at the Caroline County Health Department until she retired. For the past 3 years she resided at Chatham Village in Easton, Maryland until her passing. She was working toward the completion of her Doctorate and was working through her thesis.
