PUEBLO HIGH WARRIORS ALUMNI FOUNDATION

October is Membership Renewal month. Below is the form for you to fill out and return. Many of you have joined throughout this past year. We will honor that membership thru 2013-2014. Your next renewal will be October of 2014. If you joined prior to that and haven't heard from us, please accept our apology. We certainly appreciate your support of the students.
If we have your email address, you have been receiving periodic updates of just what we're doing at Pueblo. With many cutbacks in funding, TUSD is not able to meet all needs of the students. Pueblo is not in a high socio-economic area. Without outside help many students would not be able to participate in the many enriching programs Pueblo has to offer. For those of you who have no idea what we do, here are a few of areas in which we've been able to help students:
Scholarships for Graduating Seniors to Colleges and Universities
Si Se Puede -- Returning Grads Share their Pueblo Experience w/Students
Athletic Department Equipment, Uniforms, Participation Fees, Provide Refreshments for Drs. during Free Physicals for Students
Science Department Fees for Biotech Credits at UofA, Assist with Fund Raising Golf Tournament
Donation toward Beautification in front of Administration Building
Reunion Notifications
Help Retain and Maintain Traditions -- Like the Fiesta
Participation in Planning for Proposed Mural on Wall Facing 12th Avenue
If you haven't already, we hope you will become a part of the Foundation. Our monthly meetings are the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:00, usually held in the Teacher's Lounge next to the Bookstore. Not everyone is able to attend our meetings, but each member is a very important part of making each student's Pueblo experience the very best it can be. We value your feedback.
As the president of the Alumni Foundation, one of my goals is to see our active membership grow into the thousands.
