Has it really been 30 years? It doesn't seem so, but the calendar says otherwise. So let's all get together and see what changes 30 years has made.
For the 30 year reunion, we have decided on a three part celebration. Part one is everyone gathering for the Princess Anne football game, at Green Run High School. The game starts at 7 (we believe) so let's get everyone together and pack the away stands, make some noise, and show the Cavalier Spirit!!
Part two is a family picnic on October 15th at Bayville Farms, so we can meet the families. There are multiple ticket prices - Individual for those who are single, Couple, for those only bringing a significant other, Family of 3, Family of 4, and Family of 5 or more for those bringing children, grandchildren, or other family members. The tickets and donations will cover chicken, hotdogs, buns, cake, ice, water, lemonade, and all plates, utensils, and cups. We are asking everyone to bring a side dish to share and a preferred beverage. If you are local, we'd love to taste your home cooking. If you drive, picking up something from the store is fine. Flying? Since your arms will be tired, get in touch with us and let's see what we can do. Locals: bring games.
Part three is an adult only party on Saturday evening at Tapped on Laskin Road. We have the side room, BYOB (Buy Your Own Booze), with live music where we can talk without the kids finding out our high school secrets. ;-)
So, that's the plan. A full weekend where we can reminicise about Princess Anne in 1986 and everything that happened then and since. We need you to RSVP by September 15th, so we can have an accurate count to make sure we have enough food. And remember, the earlier you buy the plane tickets, the cheaper they are!
