A funeral for Mr. Harold (Dunnie) Owens Mayes Jr., 29, of 139 Culpepper Ave., Petersburg, who departed this life on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at John Randolph Medical Center, Hopewell, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2004, at First Baptist Church, Disputanta, with Dr. J. Alfred Reid officiating and Elder Michael Wyche will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Petersburg. The remains will rest at the church on Saturday from 9:45 a.m. until the hour of service. Relatives and friends are asked to assemble at 9:45 a.m. until the hour of service.
