About	Chris Antwine Ruddock, age 59, of Tuscaloosa, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at his home. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Father Jeremiah Deasy officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Chris was retired from the Tuscaloosa Police Department. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Christine Ruddock; and brother, Arthur Ruddock. Chris is survived by his wife, Rachel Hudson Ruddock; children, Christopher Ruddock (Jenna) of Madison, Ala., Jason Ruddock of Tuscaloosa, and Amy Hall (Michael) of Tuscaloosa; parents-in-law, Durrell and Jo Hudson of Elba, Ala.; and brothers, Tom Ruddock (Billie) and Jerry Ruddock (Mary) of Prescott, Ariz. Pallbearers will be Holley Fincher, Mike Turner, Clarence Thorpe, Doug Lavender, John Stephens, Vance Bolton, John-John Stephens, and Teddy Vaughan. Honorary pallbearers are Tuscaloosa Police Department, Dr. Audra Busenlehner, Dr. Kevin Katona, DCH Cancer Center staff, and Alacare.
