About	Paula Kay Tibbs, 61, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was awarded her Angel’s Wings Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Paula, the daughter of Paul Edward and Ruth Elaine York Woods, was born May 4, 1957, in Poplar Bluff. She was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School Class of 1975, and was an active member of First Baptist Church. For many years, Paula worked as an optician at The Optical Shop at Kneibert Clinic. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Paula was an outgoing people’s person and loved helping others. She also loved playing the piano and flower gardening. Paula married the love of her life Ronald “Ron” G. Tibbs in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Other survivors include her mother Ruth E. Woods of Poplar Bluff; four children: Mark Stephen Tibbs (Bethany) of Poplar Bluff, Christopher Edward Glass (Kathryn) of Ellsinore, Jamie Leanne Kellerman of Red Oak, North Carolina, and Rebecca Lynne Jones (William) of Winter Haven, Fla.; 14 great-grandchildren, Amber, Alexis and Addysen Tibbs, Crystal, Brayden, Rowan, Willow and Magnolia Glass, Hunter, Kaden, and Adalee Kellerman and Kristen, Alexis and Chloe Jones; two great-grandchildren, Teagan and Ava Murray; and a brother Mike Woods of Arkansas. Paula was preceded in death by her father Paul Edward Woods and a brother Douglas Woods. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life following at 7 p.m. Pastor Brandon Spain will officiate.
