Plaquemine High School Alumni

Current parents of PHS students and former athletes of PHS has organized The Plaquemine High School Alumni Association. the membership will be 10.00 per person. All graduates of P.H.S. and parents of students are welcome to join. Heidi Gibson Butler ('83) will serve as Sec-Tres. Some of the activities on tap for the Alumni Association will be assisiting and participating in the 2008 Homecoming Parade. There will also be a free tailgate for all members of the association before the homecoming game. Organizing members of the association will be Myron Gibson('82), Luke Ferachi('84), Marvin Price('85), and John Barbee('90). We will be sending updates as far as meetings and activities as the 2008-2009 school year begins on August 13, 2008.

Senior Brandon Gordon won the Class 3 A Triple Jump with a leap of 46-08. Gordon has completed a very tough four years of track for the Green Devils. Over his career at Plaquemine, Brandon has been a triple and long jumper as well as a member of the 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams. Brandon has also made it to the AAU Junior Olympics running summer track with the local Westside Striders Track Club. An outstanding student and role model; this 2008 PHS graduate will choose between LSU and Tennessee as his college to further his academics and athletics. Brandon is the son of Octavia Jackson (class of 82).

Senior Brandon Gordon won the Division II Triple Jump with a leap of 45-08.75. Brandon is the Captain of the Green Devils Track Team.
