John Metas was a classmate and friend who graduated from Pioneer High School in 1968. He went on to earn a Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan. John passed in August, 2019, of a rare, aggressive form of dementia normally seen in individuals twenty years older than he. He left behind a wife and two children. (Comments by Roy R.
