About	PRINCETON - Denise Renee Sparks, 33, of Princeton, departed this life on a bright sunny day and now is at peace and sweet rest. Born March 6, 1977 in Princeton, she was the daughter of Sheila Denise Phillips White of Speedway. Denise was a member of the first graduating class at Pikeview High School and received her bachelor's degree in Social Works from Concord University in Athens. Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sheila and David White of Speedway; maternal grandmother, Frances Ealy of South Carolina; stepgrandmother, Elaine White of Speedway; half brother, Brandon Dishner of North Carolina; stepbrother, Derek White of Speedway; stepsister, Jennifer Graham of Princeton; a host of nieces and nephews. A private family gathering will be held at the Pennington/White Cemetery, Speedway at a later date. In honoring Denise's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Appalachian Teen Challenge, P.O. Box 980, Athens WV 24712.
