About Me | I signed up for the United States Army in April 1978 and spent that summer working for the city of Petersburg. In September I reported for Basic Training and Advance Individual Training at Fort DIx, NJ. In my 26 years of military service I was stationed at Fort Bliss, TX, Forrt Hood, TX, Fort Leonard Wood,MO, Boise, ID, and Fort Lee, VA, and Fort Bragg, NC from which I retired and went on the retired roster as 1 October 2004. I've pulled 3 tours of duty in Germany for a total of 9 & years and 1 12 month tour of duty in Korea. From October 1990 to April 1991 I deployed to Operation Desert Storm and spent time in Saudi Arabia and Iraq, In December 1995 I deployed to Taszar Hungary as a part of Task Force Eagle in support of Operation Joint Endeavor. I work for the State Department and since November 2004, I have been working for the Department of Defense. From November 2004- August 2005 I worked as a Federal Contractor assigned to the CASCOM Battle Lab, August 2005-September 2008, I worked as a Training Specialist responsible for conducting accreditatio evaluations on United States Army Reserve and United States Army National Guard training institutions that train the United States Army Ordnance Corps, Military Occupational Specialities to the reserve community. In this position I'v seen just about every state in the United States to include Hawaii and Puerto Rico on several occassions. From September 2008 to current for the my Duty Title is still Training Specialist with the primary duty of training developer responsible for the development of courseware to train Ordnance Corps Soldiers in all 3 components of the Army. My current wife of 23 years and I currently reside in Prince George, VA and we have two daugthers together. Our oldest will graduate from George Mason in May of this year with a BA in Administration of Justice , our youngest is currently in her second year at Virginia State University working towards aBA in Sports Management.
