About	Ryan McCarthy Holmes 34, Fishers, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007. He was born January 24, 1973 to parents Lee and Susie Holmes. Ryan married Stephanie Grumbacher in 2004. Ryan will be remembered as a true One of a Kind. Ryan's heart was bigger than imaginable with a giving and caring soul that will never be forgotten. He was a strong Christian man always putting his faith and his family first. Ryan has been smiling since the day his son William was born, five months ago. Ryan's dedication to his wife and son will be an inspiration for all. He was to begin a job at Westfield High School as Dean of Discipline in the Fall. Ryan served as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Triton Central High School in the 20062007 school year. Ryan also taught and coached basketball at Center Grove High School, Westfield High School and Bloomington North. He spent many hours doing charitable works throughout his life. Ryan and his wife, Stephanie, coordinated a yearly Christmas drive for families with children undergoing treatment at Riley Hospital for Children. Ryan was also very involved in fundraising for Breast Cancer Research. He and his wife coordinated a large team to participate in Race for the Cure every year. They also participated in the 3 Day Breast Cancer Walk in Chicago in 2006. In addition to his wife, Ryan is survived by his son, William; his father, Lee Holmes; brother, Eric Holmes and sister, Kelli Wilson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Holmes. He was a loving uncle to six nieces and nephews and is survived by many caring aunts and uncles along with the Grumbacher family who loved him so.
