Our dear Gretchen passed away on August 2nd 2002, at the age of 56 (although, as might be fitting, some have reported she was 57 years old) after a brief illness while leading the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia PA. She was ALWAYS curating oddities - some of us were blessed to have been included in some of her travels. She was honored by Penncrest High School with a place of the Alumni Wall of Fame.
