About	On Mother's Day, "the world lost an amazing woman, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, educator, friend and marine life activist. She was the rock that held our family together. Her passion for life and her love for sea turtles touched everyone who knew her. There will never be enough kind words to express how much she meant to so many people. My heart breaks this Mother's Day for my mom, she lost her best friend. My heart breaks for my brother, he was always her favorite. My heart breaks for my children, who will never know her or how amazing she was. Please keep me, my mom and brother, and our families in your prayers, we'll need them as we grieve and try to adapt to a life without her. To all the people I know who have lost a parent or grandparent...I now know the pain you feel; and the comfort of knowing she is no longer in pain and with the love of her life in heaven. It is her family's desire that you send a donation to the cause of you choice, or, in more her style....send some time in Sarasota, paradise on Earth. Have a drink in her honour and live life to the fullest....love and be happy.

She was a tough teacher but I really liked and admired her.
