Linda Somerhalder Howe

Class of 1966

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing. I serve on the National League for Nursing Board of Governors. I am considered a master teacher and a leader in nursing education. I have many publications and conduct research on history of nursing, pharmacogenomics, and deep tissue injury prevention and healing, and have presented my research nation wide.I developed and published The Village for teaching nursing and constantly look for innovative teaching strategies. I live now in Florida with my husband of 43 years and near my son, daughter -in-love and two grandchildren. Those are truly my greatest life's accomplishments!
