CALLING ALL BULLDOGS BACK TO THE DOGHOUSE!

The Coach is right, once a Bulldog always a Bulldog. No matter where your lives have taken you since leaving PLD, somewhere from deep within comes that Bulldog whenever you think of your high school years! You ARE the alumni of the PLD Bulldogs Football. You ARE the pride and tradition for those that have come behind you!

Now is your chance to have a great time and recapture some of your youth.

It has been 20 years for some of the Bulldog faithful out there beginning with the class of 1989. It is time for a reunion! We want everyone to come back to support the 2009 Bulldogs and help fill the seats in John Akers Stadium on Friday night September 11th, 2009 for HOMECOMING! We will have an alumni tent set up in the parking lot and will be taking reservations for a wonderful box supper if you would like to take advantage of that to tailgate with your family and teammates before the game. Then settle in to reserved seating at the stadium and help us cheer our Bulldogs on to victory. Each class of returning players will be recognized on the field throughout the game. Afterwards, there will be a post-game celebration organized by the Booster Club to welcome back the Bulldogs of years gone by.

For the Main Event, each graduating PLD Football Senior Class needs to organize their team roster and try to get as many members of their class at the homecoming weekend as possible. Why, well its going to be a class war! You read it right here! A seven-on-seven flag football tournament out on the game field. Last team standing has the rights to say they are still the boldest and the best of the Bulldogs! We want all of your family, friends and cheerleaders to join us on Saturday at the stadium to help cheer on the teams as they play for the rights to be called the 1st Annual Alumni Football CHAMPS! We will also take you on tours of the facilities to see what has changed since your days of playing on that field!

Sunday, for those that can still get around, there will be a golf scramble at the Golf Club of the Bluegrass.
