About	Services for Gregory Thomas Ard, 28, will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., in the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Haughton. Officiating will be Rev. Troy Parker of Church at Red River. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Tuesday evening between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Greg was born on December 28, 1978 in Houston, TX. and left this life on Saturday, January 13, 2007. He was a very sweet and loving young man who loved water sports, fishing, and Shorty, his "short dog". Greg was an electrician apprentice and very proud of his electrical work with I.B.E.W. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Agnes Odom and Thomas and Robbie Meeker. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve and Maureen Ard of Bossier City; sisters, Julie Ard of Boyne City, MI. and Ashley Ard of Bossier City; brother, Steve Ard, Jr. of Bossier City; nephew, Lance Ard; uncles, Noel Odom and wife, Sheila of Sibley, LA., James Ard and wife LaNelle of Livingston, TX. and David Ard of Pottsboro, TX.; aunt, Jan Moon and husband, Jimmy of Pottsboro, TX.; special friend, Casey Crews of Shreveport; several cousins and many friends. Pallbearers will be Ryan Ard, Shawn Ard, Tim Odom, Truett Crow, Obie Phillips and David Richardson. The family extends a special thank you to Greg's friends in recovery for the love and support given to him.
