About	John Kerr, 27, of Park Rapids, died Thursday July 13, 1978 at St Joseph's Hospital. He was born Jan 31, 1951 in San Bernadino, CA to John and Winona Kerr. He lived in San Bernadino, Anaheim and Fountain Valley, CA and spent four years in the US Air Force at Spokane, WA before moving to Park Rapids in 1976. He was employed as a mechanic for Gene's Motor Sales. On April 13, 1971 he married Monica Munson in Park Rapids. He was a member of the American Legion. Suirvivors include his wife, Monica; two sons, Shannon and David both at home, his parents, Mr and Mrs John Kerr of Great Falls, MT, one brother Steve, Washington DC , and four sisters, Mary Abbott of Great Falls, MT, Peggy John of Williston, ND, Kelly Kerr, Williston ND, and Julie Kerr Great Falls, MT. His grandfather preceded him in death. Funeral Services were held at 11AM Monday July 17, 1978 at St Peters Catholic Church with Father J. Warren Regnier officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff Miller, Jerry Zeney, Lee Peterka, Mike Eischens, Herman Dudley and Don McBurney. Interment was in St Peter's Catholic Cemetery with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home Park Rapids.
