About	Dawn was a beautiful young girl and was our classmate when we were in middle school. I remember thinking she was the prettiest girl in our class. She was fun, loving and a good friend to all who were lucky to call her their friend. Dawn ended up moving to the cities with her mom during our middle school days due to divorce. It was really hard to see her leave. She would come back to Park Rapids and visit periodically. It was to be a fun summer night as the Hubbard County Fair was in town and Dawn had spent the evening hanging at the fair with friends. It was later that night her friends received a call that Dawn had been murdered. I remember that day like it was yesterday and to all of us, we just couldnt make any sense of it. Our beautiful friend would no longer be coming to visit. Her life was so unneccessarily cut way to short!
