Paul "Hook" Wallace was an American professional basketball player who was born on November 1, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. He is particularly noted for his athletic career that emerged from his high school years at Overbrook High School, in Philadelphia.

His basketball career took a professional turn when he moved on from his college team at Toledo to the acclaimed Toledo Jim White Chevrolets in 1941. He held the position of guard and played one game for the team in the 1941-42 season as a part of the National Basketball League.

Wallace passed away on September 23, 1998, in his birth city, Philadelphia. Despite his relatively short stint in the professional basketball league, his contributions to the sport have been acknowledged.
