Perhaps it really started with The Junior Review. But there were so many other shows . . . so many other parties . . . my girl friend's encouragement (another Ottawa student). Of course, senior English, Government and Econ, and Glee Club, motivated me to go on.
Bach., Grand Valley State University; Masters, Western Michigan U.; Doctoral, University of Tennessee. But Mr. Bultman, Mr. Pasma, and so many others taught me that adventure was an end in itself, so off I went to see the world.
Taught at University of Tennessee, Horry Georgetown Technical College, owned The General Store in Holland, Michigan, became a hair stylist (owned a salon in Tampa), owned The Christmas Tree in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Then, bought a trawler many years ago, took my guitar and went off to sea to find what is over the horizon and to play. Now, I live aboard my boat in the Caribbean, and have played full time for several years. Just Livin' and Dying' in 3/4 time! Thanks Ottawa - Wow, what a life!
