BULLDOGS ROCK !!

Big CONGRATULATIONS ! go out to the 2008 Bulldog Football team, coaches, and support staff on your grand enterance into the season, two wins in a row!!

In looking over the team roster, I noted that most of the team are children and grandchildren of alumni who have played on the OHS team fields, ran on the track, and cheered in the stands for many years. How blessed are we to live in a country where generations can grow up, and prosper in the same small hometown communities, in peace and familiarity with each other, and each other's families.

Please remember our servicemembers, nation and worldwide, who live in turmoil and unfamiliarity, working and fighting everyday, to keep our hometown soil safe and secure, where communities can come together for Friday night ballgames and our children can play wholeheartedly, with never a care or thought of an unstable world, such as most of our military understand deeply.

I send my humble good wishes and great pride of the Bulldogs from Junction City, KS, home of Ft. Riley, which is the home of the BIG RED ONE, training ground and last stop for most of the soldiers of this great nation before they leave our shores to venture into Iraq, Afganistan, Korea, and other nations around our globe, carrying our message of peace and freedom.

Keep up the great work, Dogs, and good luck on the upcoming games in the season!!!!
