About	Bruce Lyman Spink, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2010, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. He was born on March 25, 1954, in Oregon, to parents Robert and Arlene Spink. Bruce graduated from Oregon High School in 1972. He is survived by his mother, Arlene Spink; brothers, Donn (Sandi) Spink and Chris (Cindy) Spink; sisters, Julie Spink, Cindy (Mike) Bentz and Connie (Leon) Basina; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; and his beloved dog, Scooter. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Robert. Funeral services will be held at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 172 N. Main St., Oregon at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, with the Rev. Jessica Scholten presiding. Burial will be at Prairie Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. We all will remember Bruce's love of family, friends, animals and mechanics. He was known by all for his willingness to help anyone in need. He will be missed but always remembered. We love you Bruce.
