About	Patricia Ann Powers, 64, of Ontario, Ohio passed away on March 2, 2016. She was born to John and Julia Schaffer on June 26, 1951. Patricia loved her pets, and with her husband, rescued two dozen dogs and six cats. She loved being outdoors, and was a very hard worker.She worked part time at Dunkin Jewelers since 1969, and she retired from Century Link after 43 years of service in 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale Powers; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard (Sue) Baker of Lexington, Ohio, Roger (Sandy) Powers of Mansfield, Ohio, Louie (Cindy) Moore of Jackson, Mississippi, Junior (Jeannie) Powers of Lexington, Ohio, and Keith (Becky) Montgomery of Cleveland, Tennesse; her cousins, Tim and Jeff Ziegler, and Frank Loris; her aunt, Janeen Ziegler; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; and her special friends, Sandee Spertzel, and Leslie Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Barbara Ellen Shaffer McGuire. "Patti, in most ways my admiration for you was wishing I could be more like you. You have taught me so much leading by example and for this I give all praise to our Lord. A devoted, kind, caring, and beautiful heart, my wife of 36 years, my best friend. You have been my true love!"
