About	Harold Hastings, 88, of Mansfield, passed away on December 7, 2020 in the Avita Ontario Hospital, Ontario, OH. Harold was born in Mansfield, on March 4, 1932 to the late Warren and Theresa (Bowden) Hastings. He married Marlene Estella (Switzer) Hastings on January 5, 1952, and she preceded him in death on August 7, 2015. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Afterwards he was employed by The Ohio State University as a security supervisor until his retirement in December of 2006. Harold was a member of the 32° Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Venus Lodge, Mansfield. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Joyce Hastings, Crestline; Theresa (Charles) Adcock, Crestline; Helen (David) Montey, Crestline; Kay Patton, Crestline, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by his infant son, Harold Hastings, Jr., his grandson, Matthew Tolliver, his brother, Warren Hastings. Jr., his sister, June White, and his son-in-law, James Patton.
