MANSFIELD: Scott Ogle, 53, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after a 13-year battle with his illness. He was born March 11, 1964, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Donald and Mary (Bradshaw) Ogle.

Scott graduated from Ontario High School in 1982. He was a hard-working man who provided the much needed services of refuse collection and snow plowing. He had a wonderfully kind heart and was always worried about others more than himself. His selfless nature was appreciated by the many people who knew him and called him family or friend. Scott's upbeat attitude and love of life brightened the room when he entered. Scott was the most loving husband, father and son anyone could ever know. He was a joy to be around and his legacy of selfless giving and joy of life will long be remembered.

Scott enjoyed taking his Harley Davidson motorcycle out for a spin and participated in many poker runs over the years. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold 'Em poker and trying his luck at various casinos. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles and Amvets in Mansfield and Ashland.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki McKee Ogle; five children, Matthew Grace, Josh (Cindy) Ogle, Tyler Ogle, Brooke Ogle (Dallas Younce) and Dusty Shearer; and three grandchildren, Alexis Ogle, Olivia Rush and Audree Ogle. Scott is also survived by his parents, Donald and Mary Ogle; brothers, James (Christy) Ogle and Mark Ogle; sister, April (Greg) Smith; several nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and uncles; and his best friend, Joey (Marguerite) West.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents; an uncle, Larry Bradshaw; and cousins, Shawn Hamilton, Joey Hamilton, Chris Bradshaw and Shannon Bradshaw.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road.
