About	Frederick G. Shrewsbury, age 71, of Gambier, Ohio, and formerly of Fredericktown, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby, Ohio. He was born on December 8, 1950, in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Walter and Mildred (Shadel) Shrewsbury. Fred retired in 2011 after 40 years of employment with Shiloh Industries. Fred was a true outdoors person, as he loved to be in nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, hunting mushrooms and working in his vegetable garden. He was loving father, grandfather, and friend, which will be sadly missed by so many. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle Shrewsbury of Mansfield, Mandy Shrewsbury of Mansfield, and Desiree (Joel) Jacobs of Gambier, three grandchildren, Brittany Denton, Kendra Denton, and Kinslee Jacobs, a brother, Mark (Roberta) Shrewsbury of Alabama, three sisters, Lynn Shrewsbury of Mansfield, Kim Reese of Mansfield, Alisa (Aaron) Rinehardt of Lexington and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Valerie (Ash) Shrewsbury and a sister, Judy Shrewsbury.
