About	Daniel Eugene Loeber, 65, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018, in Costa Rica. He was born January 7, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Eugene J. and Francis E. (Allen) Loeber. He was a graduate of Ontario High School and retired from General Motors after 27 years of service. Daniel enjoyed traveling and spent many vacations in Jamaica where he met the mother of his two children, Maxine Loeber. Daniel loved the Island Jamaica, he had visited the island over fifteen times in his lifetime where he developed a love for it’s music, food, people, it’s sunny climate and beautiful beaches. Daniel enjoyed going to exotic places and over his lifetime enjoyed his travels. As of his early retirement from GM in 2010, Daniel enjoyed seven happy and healthy years in the beautiful tropical country of Costa Rica where he indulged in it’s scenery and exotic foods. Daniel had a passion for photography and these places satisfied and fulfilled that passion. Daniel will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He loved his children immensely. He was a doting and loving father to his two beautiful children when they were growing up and he enjoyed taking them to their extracurricular activities. He was the proudest Dad at their piano, dance and ballet recitals over the years. He is survived by his children, Allison Loeber and Sean Loeber, both of Mansfield; their mother, Maxine Loeber; a sister, Judy Dearing of Scotland; brothers, Larry Loeber of AZ and Paul (Terri Fisher) Loeber of TN; and one niece and three nephews, Tim Dearing, Miranda Loeber, Spencer William Hall and Stuart Michael Hall.
