Graduation Year Class of 1967
Date of Passing Apr 10, 2018
About Forrest V. Keller, 69, of Mansfield, passed away Monday evening, April 9, 2018, at his home.

He was born Sept. 7, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Forrest Eugene and Corrine F. (Nesbit) Keller.

He graduated from Ontario High School with the Class of 1967 and began working at General Motors at the age of 19. He retired in 2008 after 39 1/2 years of service.

Forrest lived on the family farm and orchard most of his life and enjoyed mowing the land and seeing the many wild animals who called his land their home. Humble, dependable, kind, gentle, quiet and loving are just a few words to describe the man he was.

Forrest was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and cherished his family and their traditions. Nature walks with his grandchildren and four wheeling with his grandsons were two of his favorite ways to spend his free time.

In his later years, he enjoyed traveling as much as possible and had many great family adventures to Florida, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Bush Keller; daughter, Stephanie (Fred) Barabani; two grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb; and a sister, Corrine Freel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Keller; and brother-in-law, Leroy Freel.
