Class of 1956

In 1955 we initiated the first homecoming series of events at Okemos..Next year will be the 60th anniversary of that event. The school might want to think about how to celebrate. I know that the queen, taya demartelly resides in California. Garth Richey, our leading athlete in football and basketball also lives in California. I came from a school in Illinois that did have homecoming events, so I was elected chairman. Everyone had fun and it came off without a hitch. Look at the 1956 yearbook for photos.
