About	Michael Ralph Beste, 46, of Elma, was born July 6, 1962. He passed away at his home November 22, 2008. Mike graduated from Ocosta High School, Westport, Washington in 1981. In 1990, Mike received an AA Degree in Civil Engineering from Centralia College. He married Barbara Dayley June 23, 1990 in Mill City, Ore. Mike was an Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation, in Central Park for 18 years. He was a great father and loving husband and meant everything to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, yard work, working on projects around the house, going for walks, attending Mary M. Knight sports events, family vacations, spending time at the lake, riding his jet bike, riding his quad, looking for agates on the beach, watching storms, hot tubs, and all of his kid's activities including Thad trapshooting and Amanda cheering. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Amanda; son, Thaddeus of Elma; brothers, Winn Beste of Ocosta, Jim (Karen) Huff of Moses Lake; sister, Barb (Ted) Bergstrom of New Ulm, Minn.; step-father, Buck Huff of Moses Lake; father, Lawrence (Dorothy) of Jamestown, Calif.; grandmother, Lillian Beste of Seattle; step-grandmother, Myrtabelle Danielson, Kent; several cousins; nieces; nephews; and two greatnieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Huff; and his brother, Raymond Hugh Beste. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 29, 2008, at the Matlock Community Church, Matlock, Wash., with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Hoquiam. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Hare Trigger 4-H Club and/or Mary M. Knight Sports Boosters, 2987 W Matlock Brady Road, Elma, WA 98541.
