About	It is with great personal sorrow that I post the passing of a friend and classmate yesterday.......John Davis. Many of his close friends knew him as Maynard because he reminded us of Dobie Gillis' sidekick. I was fortunate to have reconnected with John in 2009. We spoke on the phone for an hour talking about the good times. John had been cursed with many health issues from his still not in Viet Nam. He moved from Hayward and Bay area families back to Louisiana in 2010 so as to be closer to his youngest daughter Kim. Some of you who connected with John here on Facebook might have seen some of his post and pictures. Hope you will all take a minute to say a prayer for his travels to rest and his family in their time of sorrow. R.I.P. my dear friend. Thanks to Kim for advising and Paul for passing on to me.
