Class of 1997
Assist with behavioral disabilities in a variety of leveled classrooms
Provide individual assistance with a child who had Muscular Dystrophy for 5 years and with an Autistic child for 3 years
Demonstrate an interest in the academic, social and emotional growth of students, serve as mature and positive role models for students, and exhibit a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork
Prepare specific lessons and daily duties by keeping up with course content, readings, etc., and substitute for classroom teacher, if necessary
Assist instructors with student evaluations by keeping notes on students’ performance on assignments and comment during discussion
Communicate with other academic and administrative staff regarding student progress and problems, as well as scheduling needs
Assume other responsibilities as reasonably requested by the instructor, Academic Coordinators, and Program Directors
Serve as Safety Patrol Advisor and actively involve in the Classroom Assistant Advisory Committee, Affirmative Action Committee and NJEA District Health and Safety Committee

Currently President/Founder, The Friends of Michael Lumpkins Inc. , Oceanville, NJ A non-profit organization in memory of Michael Lumpkins
Liable for getting and planning sponsors for events and overseeing a committee of 25 people
Represented Muscular Dystrophy nationally and actively involved with parents partners for MD group out of Fort Lee NJ
Managed the financial stability of the foundation
