| About Me | After graduating from Northwest, I worked a summer as a laborer (ditch digging), then went right into the university life. Big mistake for me, as there was too much "fresh air and sunshine" -parties, etc. Left university (aforementioned parties wrecked my academic progress - my bad entirely) to go into Navy Reserve, where I went into 2 years of active duty, mostly at sea, experiencing the wonders of the West Pacific. I can share more of that with you over a coupe of whiskies. After leaving active duty, returned to OU with a new wife (!?), a new attitude and excelled in my studies. Upon graduation, I took an engineering position at the major electric utility in Arkansas. Both of my children were born in the Little Rock area. Later relocated to Fort Worth, TX, working for a major consulting engineering company. After learning more about the consulting business, I started an engineering consulting company with a colleague, remaining in Fort Worth, but working projects all over the country. Adjusting to retirement with long neglected hobbies, home projects, and travel. Travel has included trips with my good friend, my sister. Thinking about some (very) part time work and some volunteering. Preparing to get back into some competitive shooting. Even dating some (wow, is that different at my age).
