About	Carol was a good friend of mine all through high school. My mom let me know last summer that she'd read in the Vilas County paper that Carol had been killed in a car accident in May. She graduated from Michigan Tech and worked for Boeing as an engineer. She was very interested in nature and was an accomplished basketmaker.
