About Robert Crelot
April 12, 1946 - August 26, 2020
Robert Crelot, of Canandaigua, passed away after a long illness at age 74. He lived in Canandaigua.

Robert was born in Niagara Falls and lived his childhood in North Tonawanda where he graduated high school. Robert attained his Associate of Business Administration degree from Niagara County Community College, his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi and Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University. Robert was also accepted into the international honor business society of Beta Gamma Sigma while at Syracuse University.

Robert retired as a regional manager from the Office of Medicaid Inspector General in the Syracuse area office where he was employed for 39 years. Robert lived in the Syracuse area since 1972 and lived in Skaneateles and Tully before moving to Canandaigua. Robert was a certified Management Accountant with the Institute of Management Accountants. He served as past President of the Syracuse IMA chapter for two years. Robert Served with the US Army 199th Infantry Brigade in Vietnam as an
Accounting Specialist during 1969 and 1970.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Mary (Fabian), of 34 years; and step-daughter, Alexis Zimmerman (Daniel O'Connell), of New York City; and sister-in-law, Lenora Crelot; niece, Lisa Zander; and nephew, Christopher Crelot of North Tonawanda; and several grandnieces.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, Rene and Lottie (Matonis) Crelot; a brother, Ronald Crelot; and a step-brother, Rick Crelot.

There were no prior calling hours. A Graveside services with full Military Honors was held at Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Sampson, NY.
