About FARRELL - Donald J. Age 69, died of complications from pancreatic cancer on January 20, 2019 at his home in Annapolis, MD. Don was born on May 6, 1949 in Buffalo, NY.
He grew up in North Tonawanda, NY. He graduated from Brockport State College in 1971 and received his Master's degree from Indiana University in 1974. Don lived and worked in Atlanta, GA, Germany and Washington, DC.
In 1992, he and his wife, Sheila, moved to Annapolis, MD. They both grew to love Annapolis for the many friends they made, the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake and the fabulous music scene.
Don retired from the Federal Government in 2004 after 30 years of service. He worked hard and enjoyed life's pleasures; friends, music and traveling. He thought deeply about life and had a very curious intellect. His first passion was his wife followed closely by a love for music. Don played the guitar, electric bass and double bass. After retirement Don was able to devote himself to playing the music he so loved.

He is also survived by loving sisters and brothers-in-law as well as a bevy of adoring nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
