About	James A VanHorn James Andrew VanHorn, age 71, of North Tonawanda, unexpectedly, August 31,2018. James was born in Punxsutawney, PA. He was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School and was a member of the gymnastics team. He enjoyed woodworking and he loved to help others. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1967-1970, he was the recipient of a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. He was the son of the late Frank Van Horn and Antionette (Salvaggio) VanHorn. He was the husband of the late Patricia Woods and father of the late Frances Woods. Beloved brother of William (Kathy) VanHorn, Michael VanHorn, Mary (late Ronald) Newman, Deborah (late Raymond) MacIver, and Allison (Dale Davis) Van Horn; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral services on Thursday at 2 P.M. from the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda.
